The foremost duty of the state and its citizens is to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation. In the case of Armenia, ensuring physical and military security is not only a matter of survival but also a fundamental prerequisite for safeguarding the Armenian people’s right to self-determination, the rule of law, sustainable development, freedom, dignity, prosperity, and a democratic way of life.
The Security Governance and Transformation Seminar was designed to provide an interdisciplinary understanding of Armenia’s current and emerging security and defence challenges. It explored the strategic, geopolitical, military, and societal factors that shaped national resilience and capacity. The seminar fostered informed dialogue, professional growth, and meaningful connections among the participants, equipping them with knowledge, skills, and motivation to contribute to national security planning and transformative reform.
